This is a vintage 1987 Roland MC-500 Micro Composer Sequencer. Once the premier hardware sequencer, the MC-500 remains to this day a legendary, must-have unit for electronic musicians seeking authentic, vintage, 1980’s sounds.
Features include; 4 track recording, each capable of storing data for all 16 MIDI channels, separate rhythm track, track merging, 30,000 note capacity in on-board RAM, and up to 100,000 note capacity using a 3.5″ floppy disk in the on-board disk drive.
This particular unit is in perfect working condition, operating with no hardware or software issues whatsoever. Cosmetically, as can be seen in my detailed photographs to your right, this unit is in very excellent vintage cosmetic condition exhibiting very few minor superficial flaws. All pictures are of the actual item. Also included is the original manufacturer-supplied box, instruction manuals, and Performance Package System Generator floppy disks.
