Clonemasters Alien Mother Filter

This is a used Clonemaster Alien Mother Filter electric guitar effects pedal. Extremely rare, and incredibly scarce, this unit is the 3rd made of a measly 20 production total. While remaining in nicely preserved original codntiion, this unit belonged to DJ Lethal, and was at some point mounted to his pedal board. Hence, it displays evidence of wear and regular use. This particular example works perfectly, so don’t miss out, because this exotic boutique pedal is nearly impossible to acquire.

While the exact history of this pedal is uncertain, it seems this pedal was built by synth module designer, Kanwal Dulay. Dulay’s synth modules are highly coveted, and his early devices were used on Brian Eno’s early ambient albums. This pedal is definitely a bit of a boutique stompbox mystery. There isn’t much on the web about it. Apparently, uber producer/mixer/engineer Tchad Blake has 2 Alien Mother Filter pedals in his personal arsenal. It sounds absolutely phenomenal! It’s got a really nasty auto-wah filter, plus a built in distortion, and a reverse function. It can get pretty crazy if you play around with it (very synth-like at it’s most extreme.) You can set the filter sweeps to go up or down, and set the speed & depth. It’s built like a tank! There is some writing on the circuit board (in marker.) The phrases “OV Switched”, “Experiment With Sound”, & something fairly unintelligible with an 04 in there.ter electric guitar effects pedal.
