Here is a vintage Bernard Industries Chicago writing desk. Incredibly simple and utterly amazing in it’s glossy crayola crayon yellow finish with chrome hardware, this desk exudes ’60s design chic. Clearly inspired by Dorothee Maurer Becker’s brilliant WallAll, and borrowing from the modular usage and aesthetic of the Euroway-Torino perpetual calendar, this is the missing link. Functional with a hinged writing surface, built-in file partitions, calendar (included), and writing notepad slot, this is not the child’s workspace it may appear to be, rather, it is a sophisticated attempt to bring a playful design to your work environment. I’ve tried to find another, and I failed miserably.
