This is a used 2004 Gibson Les Paul Studio in pristine 100% all original condition. This particular example, serial number 02434343, is 156/200 from a limited edition run of this exotic metallic blue color, and includes the original Gibson gig bag. Originally, this guitar was only offered to a select few of Gibson dealers, and quickly sold for over $1,500.00, so take advantage of this offer!
This well-designed modern classic was released in extremely limited quantities in 2004 only, and is in very nice condition showing very light and expected signs of superficial wear on the guitar. Unlike other Les Paul Studios featuring a special finish confined to just the top, this guitar is metallic blue all over! Reminiscent of 1950’s Les Paul Standards with an all gold finish, this all blue Studio is actually surprisingly attractive and quite awesome.
This Special Edition Les Paul Studio features:
– Carved maple top
– Mahogany body
– Mahogany neck, ’50s Rounded Les Paul
– Rosewood fingerboard (Ebony on Alpine white)
– 22 frets
– Corian nut
– Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar
– Chrome hardware
– 490R and 498T Alnico 2 magnet humbucker pickups
– 2 volume and 2 tone knobs with black speed knobs, 3-way switch
– Vintage-style 14:1 tuners with perloid buttons
– Original black gigbag with white interior
This guitar was recently setup up and it plays incredibly well. The combination of perfectly low action, and medium/jumbo frets, creates seemingly effortless playability. The neck profile is reminiscent of a â60 profile, however, it is on the deeper side, so it would be comfortable for both those who prefer larger â59 neck profiles as well.
The guitar weighs 8 lbs. 5 oz., and unlike other new models, this guitar is NOT chambered and the mahogany body is completely solid.
The guitar includes the original Gibson gig bag.
