Made during an era that most are considering a modern prime for Gibson; prior to compromised practices, lesser craftsmanship, and faulty finish applications, this NOS lefty Les Paul Custom features: a non chambered Mahogany body, a 2-piece carved Class AA maple top with a beautiful Wine Red finish, a 1-piece mahogany neck, a bound Ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays, (1) 490R and (1) 490T Alnico Magnet pickups, Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece, 7-layer (w/b/w/b/w/b/w) bound top and a 5-layer (w/b/w/b/w) bound back and headstock, gold hardware, the original adjustment tool, the original hard shell case, and the original shipping box!
As stated, this 15-year-old guitar is in NOS, brand new condition! It works perfectly, looks pristine, and plays amazingly well with the stock factory setup and strings!
There is some evidence of light oxidation on some of the gold hardware, but such is to be expected after reaming in the original box for over 15 years, and it could also be polished back to perfection if desired.
This guitar is certain to become a collectible in such condition, so why buy a new one for more, when you can buy an imminent vintage example for less?!
