This is a used 1997 Fender ’57 Reissue Stratocaster electric guitar. This particular example, serial number V099492, is in mint N.O.S condition and includes the original tweed case, the original whammy bar, and all of the related original ephemera! Still unsold in unplayed condition from the original retailer, the buyer of this 15-year-old guitar will technically be the first owner this guitar has ever had. While not yet a vintage piece, this is a great investment opportunity to buy an example that is certain to increase in value!
This authentic ’57 Reissue features: the original two-tone sunburst finish on a contoured Alder body, a 1-piece Maple neck, (3) vintage style Strat single coil pickups, a three position switch, vintage style synchronized tremolo bridge, a tremolo arm, the original paperwork, and the original tweed case.
This all original example is in NEAR MINT cosmetic condition and perfect working condition. The medium-profile soft/open C-shape neck is straight and the original large frets exhibit no wear whatsoever. Plays, feels, and looks great, and still features the factory setup specs. with new strings!
Cosmetically, it is like new, aside from a single weather check on the front of the body, in addition to, a dark mark from hanging in a guitar hanger for an extended period of time. Both of which would be considered “shop/presentation/case” wear.
Buy this example for the price of a discounted new one, and make a much smarter investment!
