1995 Jerry Jones Longhorn Bass4

Here’s a used 1995 Jerry Jones Longhorn Bass4 electric bass guitar. This particular example, serial number 3529, is in very excellent all original condition. The classic Longhorn Danelectro design and the vintage-inspired Copper finish are unmistakably Dano’s best combo, but more importantly, this bass plays fantastically well, sounds incredible, and is considered by most to be better than the original. Having been discontinued for years, most Jerry Jones models are becoming increasingly difficult to find, but the more desirable models, such as the Longhorn bass, are becoming even more rare.

– Hollowbody construction
– Original Copper finish
– Maple neck
– Indian rosewood fingerboard with 14.5″ radius
– Lipstick style tube pickups
– Neptune bridge with individual adjustable saddles
– Gotoh tuning machines
– 1 5/8″ nut width
– 30″ scale length

As mentioned, this bass is in excellent all original condition with very little playing wear. The action is low, and the slim neck profile makes it quite easy to play. A very slim nut reinforcement was added, which does not affect intonation, and can be removed if the buyer requests. There is some minimal playing wear on the back, and the copper finish has actually somewhat faded, which adds to the vintage appeal.Danelectro, Bass, 4, vintage, reissue
