This is a vintage 1983 Marshall 2203 MKII Master Model 100w Lead guitar amplifier head. This original 1980’s version features the coveted vertical input orientation with the traditional black tolex cabinet. This particular example, serial number 09900R, was owned by Larry Cragg of Vintage Instrument Rental who famously rented equipment to everyone from Neil Young to Green Day. This amp was a favorite, and was used exclusively for studio rentals only. Aside from a missing back panel, which can easily be replaced with something quite accurate for under $90, this amp is 100% all original. The German-made Ruby power tubes are currently installed, and the amp sounds great.
