1977 Wurlitzer 200A

This is a vintage 1977 Wurlitzer 200A electronic piano. The 200A model was introduced in 1972, manufactured until 1980, and over 30 years later remains one of the world’s most recognizable and widely sought-after musical instruments.

With a signature sound all their own, Wurlis have been featured on some of the most successful pop recordings in recent history including “These Eyes” by the Guess Who, “Miss You” by the Rolling Stones and Ray Charles’ “What’d I Say”.
This particular example, serial number 114426L, is in excellent condition both inside and out, is cosmetically stunning, and also includes the original legs and sustain pedal. All of the moving and electronic parts work perfectly, sound beautiful and clear, and are free of any distracting noise making this example perfect for a studio environment. There is some expected rust and oxidation on the leg receptacles, as well as some light oxidation spots, though nothing unexpected nor visually distracting. The piano itself is in excellent condition, with only a few extremely small noticeable flaws, limited to a cigarette burn on the bass side of the top shell and some light storage wear.
