1977 Wurlitzer 200A

Here is a vintage 1977 Wurlitzer 200A electronic piano. With a signature sound all their own, Wurlys have been featured on some of the most successful pop recordings in modern history, including: “These Eyes” by the Guess Who, “Miss You” by the Rolling Stones and Queen’s “You’re My Best Friend”. This particular example, serial number 114498L, is in very excellent 100% all original condition and includes the original chrome legs, functional sustain pedal, and an IEC power cable! Those who favor well-preserved pieces will absolutely adore this stunning specimen. A must have instrument for any serious studio, this Wurlitzer 200A will become common place on your recordings, or for those enthusiasts who purely enjoy creating and playing music, you will not find a more enjoyable, more inspirational, musical instrument.

As mentioned, this studio-ready example was recently serviced by the keyboard guru himself, Ken Rich, and remains in perfect pitch, all keys being in tune, with amazingly tempered level action. The speakers sound great, exhibiting no fatigue and loud robust projection.

As can be seen in the series of very high resolution photos to the right of this text column, the cosmetic condition is fine, but with the usual and expected evidence of superficial wear from both storage and use. The chrome legs are very clean and sheen, the rubber pad on the sustain pedal is slightly worn on the edges, and there is minimal superficial scratching on the exterior as mentioned. The keys are in unfaded excellent shape, and the overall condition of this keyboard is very excellent and highly presentable.
