This is a vintage 1975 Fender Telecaster electric guitar. This guitar features a 2-piece ash body, a maple neck with a mahogany back insert, maple fingerboarding with black dot inlays, (2) Fender single-coil pickups, chrome bridge plate, electronics cover plate, F-back neck plate and F-back Fender tuning machines, a brass nut and a 3-ply W/B/W guard. This particular example, serial number 641148 is 100% original, in perfect working condition, and in good vintage cosmetic condition with only a few notable cosmetic flaws.
Cosmetically, this ’75 Tele is in beautiful shape though does have a few dings, mostly located on the upper left bout, and bottom left lower bout. These are merely finish dings, are purely cosmetic, and donât negatively affect the guitar in any way. The Tone control knob is missing, and the mounting screw right below it has come loose, as the hole has broken through. A simple toothpick/superglue filler fix should do the trick for this minor issue. Aside from that, the only other notable issue is the Tone control pot seems to act more as another volume control. With the volume full-up, the tone control simply makes the signal slightly stronger or weaker.
