The black vinyl tolex exterior is in very nice condition, though it does exhibit evidence of isolated storage wear around the corners/edges. The black/orange stripe grill cloth is only slightly faded, and exhibits some minor fraying. The control panel is crisp and clean with only some typical playing wear. All of the hardware is in very nice condition, the chassis is quite clean, with no evidence of damage, let alone signs of oxidation, or indications of leaky/exploded capacitors.

The Fender Super Six Reverb was Fender’s largest combo amp and features; (4) 6L6 (2) 12AT7 (1) 12AX7 and (3) 7025 original RCA tubes through the original 6 x 10″ CTS speakers to produce a warm controllable sound, partially thanks to a Master volume. Since this particular example has been very well-preserved, it sounds as good as it looks. ALL of the tubes are original along with every other electronic component in this amp.

The amp works perfectly and sounds fantastic. All 6 CTS 10″ speakers feature original cones and do not exhibit speaker fatigue or voicecoil distortion. Both the reverb and vibrato work and sound exceptional. As mentioned, the amp comes with the original factory-installed casters, Fender amp cover and owner’s manual!
