Here’s a vintage 1970’s Univox Lucy electric guitar. Clearly a copy of the Dan Armstrong Plexi guitar, the see-through lucite-bodied model, aptly named Lucy, is a remarkably-made homage to the Dan Armstrong, upon the design of which it was inspired. Like the Dan Armstrong, it also features; a bolt-on maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, a faux wood grain pickguard, and bolt-on chrome tailpiece with rosewood bridge. Aside from the notorious input jack crack with typical washer reinforcement, this guitar is an exceptionally nice example. It includes; the original hard shell case the original pickups, the original volume and tone wood insert barrel knobs, the original tuning machines, and all other hardware. Though it plays fine, it has not been setup, and currently has very oxidized strings. The original case is missing one latch, and one hinge is not mounted properly. It weighs a manageable 9 lbs. and 5 oz.
