Here is a vintage 1970s Multivox MX-450 Pedal Synthesizer. This particular example, serial number 00476, is in nice all original condition. Though there is slight cosmetic damage on the right side of the particle board panel, this unit works absolutely perfectly and sounds i-n-c-r-e-d-i-b-l-e. Surprisingly versatile, this simple monosytnh produces rich guttural grain and badass bass. Easy to use, and undeniably addictive, this is a must have for any and every modern studio, producing sounds that will find their way onto a plethora of tracks. Of all the cool Multivox keyboards from the ’70s, the MX-450 happens to be the favorite, and aside from the obvious Moog Taurus bass pedals, this is the hands down the coolest pedal synth.
This extremely rare monophonic synth features: a VCO section with main and 2nd Octave controls, a VCF section with Frequency and Resonance controls, as well as, an Envelope Generator and VCA.
As mentioned, this example is in perfect working condition. It is structurally intact, though one of the side panels is a little loose from having rested vertically on it’s side.
