This is a vintage 100% all original 1969 Fender Stratocaster electric guitar. This particular example, serial number 274827, is in very fine/very excellent original condition, and includes the original case, tremolo arm, era appropriate ACE guitar strap (Jimi Hendrix style) and a large profile vintage coil cable. Not only is this well-preserved large headstock “With Synchronized Tremolo” sunburst Strat in amazing condition, but it is also one of the best playing and sounding guitars form this era I have ever owned.

As briefly mentioned, this particular example is 100% ALL original! The original sunburst polyurethane body finish is in excellent condition, and only displays case wear on the side of the body, as well as, random superficial dings on the back of the body. The neck is also in very excellent condition with no evidence of playing wear on the back nor signs of wear on the original frets. The original plastic parts (pickguard, pickup covers, knobs, switch tip, back plate) are all in very excellent condition. The pickguard is both crack-free and warp-free. The knobs have faded to an attractive cream color and the green type has faded along with it. The original hardware is very clean and void of typical oxidation.
The original gray bobbin/back pickups all retain original wiring and sound absolutely incredible. In my opinion, this era pickup is slightly bolder than those made prior. All three pickups are warm, rich and loud. The guitar is definitely more responsive with solo playing.
The neck is perfectly straight, and the very comfortable soft open-C shape neck profile is an ease to play. The original frets display absolutely no fret wear, and allow for the most effortless string-bending of any guitar.
The guitar is super-light and weighs under 8 pounds!
The original case is in excellent condition, although the original tail-less Fender logo is missing a piece. All of the latches and hinges work perfectly, and the handle still retains all of the original vinyl covering.
