This is a vintage 1969 Fender Rhodes Seventy Three student model keyboard. Lovingly referred to as the “Jetsons” model due to it’s stellar space age aesthetic, it has rightfully earned it’s place amongst the coolest-looking studio pieces to own. Sure, with it’s fetish-worhty curves and creamy green coloring, it’s easy to forgive functionality, however, the mechanics within this keyboard are identical to those housed in silver sparkle Rhodes keyboards as well. And though the electronics are quite different, there are several pre-amp mods offered by most Rhodes techs. This example is in very excellent 100% all original condition. It works perfectly, and shy of the usual tuning and service after moving/shipping, will be ready to go. This keyboard was recently purchased from a family in Central California that had owned it since buying it at a school auction several decades ago.
