This particular variety is the rare drip-edge/drip-rail Deluxe Reverb with black vertical separation lines on the SilverFace control panel and black/blue stripe grill cloth, which was only offered from 1968-69. During these transitional years, from BlackFace into the SilverFace aesthetic era, these amps were still built with BlackFace era components and schematic designs, making this example just as great sounding as any early ’60s blackface Deluxe Reverb.

This Fender Deluxe Reverb utilizes: (1) GZ34, (2) 6V6, (3) 7025, (2) 12AT7, and (1) 12AX7 original (RCA, Telefunken) tubes, through an original 1 x 12″ Oxford Special Design Speaker. The original Oxford speaker sticker was covered by Fender’s own, hence the inability to precisely date the week of production.

The amp also includes the original BlackFace variety footswtich, which is also in correspondingly fine condition.
