1967 Fender Twin Reverb

This is a vintage 1967 Fender Twin Reverb- Amp AB763 electric guitar amplifier. This excellent black panel example, serial number A 06845, is in near mint 100% all original condition and includes the original Victoria protective vinyl cover, original Tolex hang tag, the original schematic with envelope, and the original black dual-function VIB/REV footswitch! Appropriately considered the irrefutable king of clean, the Twin Reverb has always been synonymous with an overabundance of clean headroom with highly musical qualities. The same attributes that make the Twin Reverb notably perfect for surf-inspired pristine guitar tone, are the same that render it appropriate for use with pedal steel, effects pedals and any other application whereby the most authentic signal path is desired. Impressively not too harsh, nor hi-fi in character, the Twin Reverb is loud, dynamic, clean, robust, and perhaps offers the best examples of both the Fender’s famous Reverb and Vibrato effects.

This amp was in storage for many years, so I brought it up slowly on a Variac to reform the original caps. It is entirely 100% all original: every last cap, tube, resistor and screw, and I didn’t want trauma to compromise the originality. After letting the amp warm up for 30 minutes post Variac exercise, I played it for over an hour with not a single issue. It is very efficient, super loud, clean, sweet, and has the most lush reverb imaginable. The original speakers both retain original cones, and both sound remarkable.
