Here is a vintage 1966 Supro Thunderbolt “S 6420″ electric (bass) guitar amplifier. This particular example, serial number 1 74764, is in very excellent, extremely clean, 100% all original condition! Though originally intended for bass, the Thunderbolt has since joined the proper ranks as one of the most popular vintage guitar amps. Rumored to have been used by Hendrix and Page as a means of capturing monstrous Marshall tone at microphone-friendly recording levels in the studio, the hi-gain tone structure really is unparalleled by other combos.
