While this amp is not in mint condition, it is just about. The black vinyl tolex is beautifully intact and the original grill cloth is in perfect structural condition with no stains, rips, fraying, etc. Cosmetically, the amp is quite clean and would easily achieve a conservative 9/10 from the most strict of ratings.
The blackface control panel is really crisp with no evidence of input jack scratches or wear from the underside of the control knobs. All of the hardware is in very excellent shape with minimal light green oxidation on the chassis mount brackets.
The amp works perfectly and sounds fantastic. The single CTS 10″ speaker is perfectly efficient and crisp, which nicely facilitates the surprising volume and dynamic head-room. The reverb and vibrato both sound particularly great and highly pronounced. The amp produces a very minimal low-end oscillation when pushed to it’s capacity, and while it is barely noticeable, it would need to be serviced to be studio ready.
This is a great example with a fantastic assortment of original documentation and would make a superb addition to any arsenal, collection or studio.
