1966 Fender Bassman -Amp

Here is a vintage 1966 Fender Bassman -Amp “AA165” electric guitar amplifier. This particular example, serial number A20908, is in 100% all original m-i-n-t condition and includes the original vinyl covers, the original speaker cable, the original schematic, the original owner’s manual, the original owner’s registration card, and Fender hang tag! This is the absolute finest example of any Fender blackface amplifier we have ever seen, and we’ve sold some of the best. It looks like it was removed from the original box just yesterday, and appears more like the reissue that never was than an original vintage specimen, so if you’re a connoisseur of condition and a collector of this caliber of piece, do not hesitate, as this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that can not be reproduced. Perfectly paired with your ’66 Fender Stratocaster, Telecaster, or even Precision/Jazz Bass, there is no better complement than an essentially N.O.S. Fender Blackface Bassman!

Serial Number: A20908
Tube Chart Stamp: PF (June 1966)
Speaker Code: 220622, 220621 (Jensen)
Transformer Codes: -606-6-09, 606-612, 606620
Tiltback Leg Stamp: M59268

This AA165 Fender Bassman utilizes: (2) 6L6, (3) 7025 and (1) 12AT7 all original tubes through the original 2 x 12″ Jensen Special Design C12NA speakers.

As can be seen, this amp is like new. Aside from some surface oxidation on one metal corner, and two very slight tears on the Fender Bassman amp head cover, this amp is perfect. The Fender vinyl tag was missing a string, so we added one similar to that which would have been on originally.

Original transformers, original tubes, original everything. This is as good as it gets, and it sounds just as incredible as it looks.
