1965 Selmer “Truvoice” Little Giant

Here is a vintage 1965 Selmer “Truvoice” Little Giant electric guitar amplifier. This particular example, serial number 38739, is in near mint 100% all original condition and includes the original vinyl cover! Selmer Truvoice amps have long been used by Britain’s best, and even the smallest amp of the entire Truvoice line was enjoyed by Keith Richards and Robin Trower. Akin to Fender’s Champ, the Selmer Little Giant produces an incredibly large tone from such an unassumingly petite package. In fact, Trower discussed how disappointed he was when he was unable to use his Little Giant on stage! Amp collectors and tone aficionados will both find this Selmer an absolute gem.

The Selmer Little Giant utilizes: (1) original Brimar EZ80, (1) original Brimar EL84, and (1) original Mullard ECC83 tubes through the original 1 x 8″ Elac speaker.

The subtle blue pinstripe Marshall-style grill cloth and baby blue Selmer logo with black tolex cabinet look quite remarkable. Even better is the way this amp sounds: surprisingly saturated and perhaps louder than a Tweed Champ, this amp is tons of fun. The auction includes a new step down transofmer for use in the USA and other countries with 110v.
