This is a vintage 1965 Fender Stratocaster electric guitar. Features of this beautiful transition model guitar include an ash body with a beautifully worn 2-tone tobacco sunburst finish, an equally well-worn maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and pearloid dot inlays, (3) original Fender single coil pickups, all original electronics and cloth wire, 3-way selector, original Kluson Deluxe tuning machines, and the original 3-ply W/B/W guard.
This beautiful example, serial number L67534, has been weathered and worn through 45 years of playing, and looks better than any artificial relic job ever could. The neck also looks gorgeous with substantial playing wear throughout about half of the back, as well as a darkening of the finish on the headstock and slight oxidation on the tuning machines, as well as the rest of the chrome parts including the bridge and strap buttons.
This Strat is 100% original, has not been refinished, and has no issues whatsoever. The neck is straight, and the action comfortable playing comfortably all the way up the fingerboard with minimal buzzing. The frets, naturally, are worn however they are still quite playable and have years of use left in them.
