This is a vintage 1965 Fender Stratocaster electric guitar neck. This small profile headstock Strat neck features; an original transitional logo decal, a beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays, original frets, original tuning machine ferrules and the original string tree. Date stamped “MAR65,” this neck is appropriate for any project circa late-’64 to mid ’65. Recently removed from a refinished ’65 Strat project, this neck was oversprayed long ago. The back of the neck is worn nicely, and the oversrpay is barely evident, however, the front and back of the headstock clearly have an extra clear coat which is on top of the decal. The neck feels fantastic, and will be a great addition to any Strat project or vintage restoration.
