1965 Fender Princeton Reverb

This is a vintage 1965 Fender Princeton Reverb -Amp electric guitar amplifier. This particular pre-CBS example, serial number A02264, is in very nice all original condition, and includes the original footswitch! Though only recently reissued, the Princeton Reverb has long been a favorite amongst guitarists seeking great tone at low volumes in a convenient compact package. Perfect for small intimate live performances, recording and studio applications, and in-home practice, the Princeton Reverb is coveted for being the smallest Fender combo amp to produce quintessential “Blackface” tone with Reverb.

This ’65 Fender Princeton Reverb features: (1) original GZ34 rectifier tube, (2) original RCA 6V6 power tubes, (1) 12AT7, (2) 12AX7s, and (1) 12AX7 preamp tubes through the original 1 x 10″ Jensen speaker with the Fender brown and gold label. Quite interestingly, this Princeton Reverb’s tube chart has a Production #1 stamp with an AA964 chart designation.

As stated, this amp is in very nice condition, with all components in excellent original shape. Aside from an updated 3 prong power cable, this amp is 100% original. The speaker, transformers, and the tubes are all original. Enthusiasts, collectors, and players alike will find this example quite attractive. It is a great sounding amp, and will always remain a choice investment. It includes a vintage, though not original, custom-fit vinyl cover.
