This is a very excellent, mint 100% all original condition, vintage 1963 Gibson SG Standard with the original case and ephemera. This is, without a doubt, one of the cleanest Harrison version SGs I have ever seen. In person, this SG looks like a new guitar, and it is so well-preserved, that most would mistake it for a reissue.
Serial Number: 135994
Potentiometer Codes: 1376336
With a Cherry Red finish that is as rich and intact as the day it was shipped from the factory; this impeccably pristine guitar looks cleaner than a new reissue. The only indication of age, is the light superficial oxidation of the Gibson Lyre tailpiece, and the somewhat smokey oxidation of the nickel pickup covers, which can most likely be polished out, though I have not attempted to do so. It includes the original 5-latch black Lifton hardshell case with yellow interior, the original pickup adjustment instructions, as well as the original Tune-O-Matic bridge instructions.
As mentioned, this guitar is 100% all original, including; the original Sticker Patent No. humbucking pickups (essentially PAFs), the original Cherry Red finish, original wire ABR-1 tune-o-matic bridge, original single-line double-ring Kluson Deluxe tuning machines, original Gibson Lyre tailpiece, original small pickguard, original silver insert reflector control knobs, original pots and wiring, and all other related hardware. The original 5-latch black Lifton large pebble case with bright yellow interior is in correspondingly excellent shape.
