1963 Fender Jazzmaster Neck

Here is a vintage 1963 Fender Jazzmaster neck. Though this particular example was recently removed from a ’63 Jazzmaster with a refinished body, the neck is in 100% all original condition, and includes the original: decal, tuning machine ferrules, string tree, nut, frets, and inlays. This vintage neck feels i-n-c-r-e-d-i-b-l-e: the medium soft-C shape is extremely comfortable, and shallow enough to really enable quick action and effortless playability. Supposedly, this guitar was refinished immediately after being purchased new, which would explain the surprisingly intact frets, along with the coating of oxidation. The neck is perfectly straight, and the truss rod turns smoothly and effectively. The original nut is in correspondingly great shape. The neck date reads “4 MAR 65.”
