1960s D’Scala Accordion

Here is a vintage D’Scala accordion. This particular example, circa 1960’s, is in absolutely N.O.S., un-played, unsold, like new condition and includes the original hard shell case, the original unopened strap, the original dust cover, and the original paperwork! This accordion is perfect. Recently purchased from the son of his parents’ Palm Springs music store, this unbelievable example remained a piece of (dead stock) store inventory, hidden in the back of the business, until several months ago when we purchased it directly from him..

The (3.5 octave) 41-treble keys work perfect and don’t stick, and look stunning. The double bellows, dual tone chambers, are in perfect functional condition and sound incredible. The 120 bass buttons are all in perfect working order. The wrist strap still has the original plastic dust cover on it. As far as we are aware, we were the first to test this accordion, otherwise it has NEVER been used.

The D’Scala features; 13 different tone settings from L (low) to LMMH (low, middle, middle, high) all the way to H (high). There is a similar feature for the bass buttons that allows for 6 different settings and an off setting.

As mentioned, the original hard shell case is in correspondingly perfect condition, as well as, the original unopened strap, the original dust cover, and the original paperwork!
