Transformer Codes: 166040, 166040
Speaker Code: 220041 (Jensen)
This amp utilizes: (1) 5Y3 rectifier tube, (1) 6V6 power tube and (1) 12AX7 tubes through a 1 x 8″ Jensen Special Design speaker.
The cosmetic condition of this amp is quite impressive, with no evidence of significant flaws or damage aside from some peeling on one corner. Otherwise there is really nothing to mention. In general, the amp is very clean, intact and nice. The grill cloth is in perfect structural condition, and the tolex is in correspondingly excellent shape.
This small amp produces the biggest sound, and in front of a microphone you couldn’t tell a difference. With a sonic footprint highly focused in the mids, it really fits in a any recorded track perfectly. Use a Les Paul, or Humbuckers, for insanely rich overdrive, or a single-coil for more pronunciation.
The original speaker (with original cone) is in perfect structural condition and does not exhibit fatigue.
