This is a vintage 1958 Gretsch Country Club G6192 hollowbody electic guitar. This 100% all original Project-O-Sonic (stereo) model, features; all original nitrocellulose lacquer finish, “Patent Applied For” (P.A.F.) Filter’Tron pickups, Grover Imperial tuning machines, “G” tailpiece, gold hardware, all original plastic parts and the original hard case. Unfortunately, one of the tuner paddles broke, and needs to be repaired. This example also exhibits the notorious Gretsch binding shrinkage along the inner-waist of the top.
Aside from the aforementioned defects and condition flaws, this guitar is in otherwise very excellent shape. The electronics work perfectly. All of the finish is highly intact and very well preserved. There are no cracks, no breaks, no repairs, etc., and it is a completely unmolested example. The neck is straight, the truss rod works great and the action is quite comfortable. The frets are original and have plenty of life remaining.
