1958 Gibson ES-225TD

This is a vintage 100% ALL ORIGINAL 1958 Gibson ES-225TD hollowbody electric guitar. This particular example, FON T 6962 33, is exceptionally clean with no issues: no breaks, no cracks, no repairs! Perhaps one of the best all-around best bargain 1950s Gibson guitars at this point in time, the ES-225 is a very serious guitar for not much money. And for those smart enough to consider purchasing one, this would be a perfect candidate. It is all original, in near mint condition and happens to be a fantastic player.

This ’58 ES-225 features:
– (2) P-90 pickups
– Tobacco Sunburst finish
– Laminated maple top, mahogany back and sides
– Single pointed cutaway
– Single bound top and back
– Single bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard
– Pearl dot fingerboard inlays and pearl logo
– Laminated beveled-edge pickguard
– Trapeze bridge/tailpiece combo w/strings looping over bridge

The original sunburst finish is stunning and shows no signs of fading, zero dings on the front with some very minor dings on the back. The original nitrocellulose clear coat has incredible luster and reflects like that of a new guitar. There is no arm wear, belt buckle wear, neck wear, or fret wear present on this guitar. If the buyer wishes to pay extra, one of the two cases pictured will be included.

This excellent example is in 100% original condition, aside from one added Gibson strap pin which may or may not be factory installed, it most certainly would otherwise be dealership added.  Also, the original Kluson Deluxe tuning machines have had three (3) buttons replaced which is sometimes inevitable. This guitar includes a black softshell case.
