1958 Fender Champ

This is a vintage 1958 Fender Champ electric guitar amplifier. This particular example, serial number C007359, is in good cosmetic condition! Aside form a replaced speaker, this example is 100% all original. It sounds fantastic and works perfectly! Though originally intended for a student/economy customer, the tweed Champ has since become several serious guitarist’s secret weapon in the studio as it famously produces an abundantly rich and overdriven tone, unparalleled by not just other small tube amps, but even by the likes of 100w Marshalls.

This Tweed Champ utilizes: (1) 5Y3, (1) 6V6, and (1) 12AX7 tubes through a non-original 1 x 8″ Electro-Harmonix reissue speaker.

This low-wattage amp is perfect for recording and really impresses an immense tone upon most microphones. This example works perfectly and sounds incredible. Clearly, this is not a 100% original collector’s example, however, it is original where most important, yet perfectly functional.
