1957 Gretsch 6151 Lancer

This is a vintage 1957 Gretsch 6151 Lancer electric guitar amplifier. This particular example, serial number X86498, is in very excellent 100% all original condition, and happens to sound just as cool as it looks! With way more aesthetic vibe than a concurrent Tweed Champ, this example will also blow away all other small amp competition, as it pushes more air than some amps twice it’s size! Pair this amp with your vintage Gretsch guitar, put it in your office for practice, or stash this in your studio as your main recording amplifier. This Gretsch Lancer Amp utilizes (1) 5Y3, (1) 6V6, and (1) 12AX7, tubes through an original 1 x 6″³ Rola speaker. The original fabric-textured charcoal grey/white speckled tolex is in very nice condition with a few small scuffs, notably on the bottom. The original black grill cloth is has some normal storage wear with evidence of slight oxidation wear, where it wraps around the side. All of the hardware is original and in very excellent shape. The original black panel is excellent with minimal signs of use.

This example has all the original transformers, original tubes, capacitors and power cable. The original 6″€³ Rola speaker is in excellent shape and sounds amazing. The cone is original, and it does not exhibit speaker fatigue nor voicecoil distortion.

This amp works perfectly and sounds fantastic and includes the original Spare Fuse envelope!
